CHAPATI ZA MAJI(PANCAKES)


MAHITAJI/INGREDIENTS

1.Unga wa ngano nusu kilo
 1/2 kilogram of All Purpose flour

2.Kitunguu maji kikubwa 1
 1 big Onion

3.Pilipili boga 1
 1 Green pepper

4.Karoti 1
 1 Carrot

5.Yai 1
 1 Egg

6.Chumvi cha chakula 1
 1 Tbsp of Salt

7.Mafuta nusu kikombe
 1/2 cup of Cooking oil

8.Maji kikombe kikubwa 1 au zaidi
 1 Big Cup of water or more

9.Sukari kijiko cha chai kimoja 1
 1/2 Tbsp of sugar


MAANDALIZI/PREPARATION
1.Chukua bakuli kubwa kiasi chekecha unga weka pembeni
 Sift the flour in a big bowl and keep it a side.

2.Kata kata vitunguu maji kama vya mchuzi vifikiche kwa mkono kuviachanisha weka pembeni
 Cut the onion in small sized pieces and crumble them by your hand

3.Para karoti weka pembeni
 Grate the carrots

4.Kata pilipili boga nyembamba weka pembeni
 Cut thin and small pieces of  green pepper

5.Vunja yai kwenye kibakuli lipige na umma kama unataka kulikaanga weka pembeni
 Take a small bowl and folk then beat an egg keep it a side

6.Chukua maji weka kidogo kidogo kwenye unga huku ukiuchanganya na mchapo au upawa mpaka uwe na uzito kiasi hakikisha hauwi mwepesi sana wala mzito sana
 Pour water slowly in a flour and mix it well then whisk the wet mixture and make it neither heavy nor light

7.Mimina vitunguu,karoti na pilipili boga kisha koroga uchanganye vizuri
Put onion,carrots and green pepper in your wet mixture and whisk it 

8.Weka chumvi ,sukari na yai kisha changanya vizuri mpaka uji wako uchanganyike na vitu vyote
 Put salt,sugar and bitten egg and keep whisk the mixture till all ingredient well mixed

JINSI YA KUPIKA/HOW TO COOK
1.Weka chuma(frying pan) chako jikoni na mafuta kijiko kimoja yaeneze kwenye chuma chote
 Pour a Tbsp of oil in Non Stick Frying Pan and swirl around so that it lightly coats the surface,let it heated for a minute

2.Tumia upawa chota miko miwili au zaidi inategemea na ukubwa wa chuma chako na ieneze kwenye chuma chote
Use a cooking spoon mix well your wet mixture then take two of them and pour the mixture in a frying pan

3.Acha kwa dakika 3 mpaka uone mkate wote umekauka ile umaji maji wa ubichi haupo
  Let cooked for 3 minutes till the upper side become dry

4.Ugeuze upande wa pili uache pia kwa dakika 3 ukauke
 Carefully lift the edge of the pancake with spatula and flip on the another side and cook again till dried for about 3 minutes

5.Chota mafuta kijiko kimoja weka chini ya mkate wako huku ukiuzungusha mpaka upate yangi ya kuvutia
 Put a Tbsp of oil at bottom of your cooked pancake and use a Tbsp to squeeze it till have golden brown colour

6.Ugeuze kisha utoe weka kwenye kwenye sahani
 Flip over and and remove it from pan to the plate

7.Rudia njia hizi mpaka umalize uji wote
Repeat the above procedure till you finish the whole wet mixture

8.Weka mezani kula na chai ya maziwa,juice au kinywaji chochote
 Serve with tea,milk,juice or any drink

1.Yai muhimu usipoweka mikate inaganda kwenye chuma
 You must put an egg otherwise the pancake will sticky in pan 

2.Kama utakosa yai weka mafuta kijiko 1 cha chakula
 Use a Tbsp of cooking oil in absence of an egg

3.Tumia Nonstick Frying Pan kwa kuhofia kugandisha mikate mara kwa mara
 Use Nonstick Frying pan to avoid sticking of pancakes frequently

4.Ili upate mikate mizuri ya kuvutia hakikisha moto ni wa wastani ukipikia moto mkubwa zinakua mbaya
 Use medium heat to get delicious and attractive pancakes otherwisewont have good taste

NDIZI MBIVU(HOW TO COOK PLANTAIN WITH COCONUT MILK)

3.Sukari kikombe kidogo 1
 1 Small Cup Sugar

4.Arki Vanilla kijiko cha chai 1
 1 Tea Spoon Vanilla 

5.Chumvi kiduchu
 Pinch of Salt

6.Hiliki punje 10
  10 Cloves of Cardamom 

7.Zabibu pakti Ndogo 1
 1 Small Packet Raisins 
8.Custard kijiko cha chakula 2
  2 Tbsp Custard Powder
  
9.Maji kiasi
  Some Water 

MAANDALIZI/PREPARATIONS
1.Osha ndizi zikiwa na maganda yake vizuri
  Wash the plantains with clean water
2.Kata ndizi yako sehemu mbili sawa upate vipande viwili
  Cut the plantains into halves

3.Pasua ndizi katikati kisha imenye maganda usiyatupe yaweke pembeni sehemu safi
  Slice one half at the center ,remove the skin and keep them aside for other uses

4.Weka maganda yako kwenye sufuria unayopikia yapange vizuri
  Place the skin in the pan that you will use for cooking the plantains

5.Weka ndizi juu ya maganda yake zipange vizuri kwenye sufuria
   Add the peeled plantains on top of  skin

6.Kuna nazi kisha saga kwenye blenda au chuja kwa mkono
   Grate the coconut and blend it or use your hand to get coconut milk

7.Weka tui zito mbali na tui jepesi mbali
   Make sure you separate the heavy coconut milk and light one

8.Twanga hiliki mpaka iwe ya unga
  Grind the cardamom seeds to get cardamom powder

JINSI YA KUPIKA/HOW TO COOK
1.Chukua tui jepesi na chumvi mimina kwenye sufuria ya ndizi
  Pour light coconut milk in the pan contained plantains ,add salt too

2.Kisha weka sukari na zabibu weka jikoni zifunike ziache kwa dakika 10 zikichemka
  Add sugar and raisins,then cover the pan let it cooked for 10 minutes

3.Baada ya dakika hizo weka arki, hiliki na tui zito ila libakishe kidogo
  Add vanilla,cardamom and heavy coconut milk(dont add all of it)

4.Acha zichemke kwa dakika 5 
  Let it cooked for 5 minutes 

5.Changanya custard kwenye tui lililobakia na ikoroge vizuri kisha mimina kwenye ndizi baada ya dakika 1 epua
  Mix custard powder and remained coconut milk and pour it in the mixture,leave it for just a minute and remove the pan from the stove

6.Acha zipoe pakua tayari kwa kula kama zilivyo au na wali au na mkate
  Let them cool,serve them as they are or you can serve with bread or rice

Angalizo:Note;
1.Kama ndizi ni ngumu weka tui jepesi jingi ili ziive na zilainike kabla kuweka tui la pili au unaweza kuzichemsha kidogo
 If the plantains are not soft enough better to boil before adding coconut milk .Or add large amount of coconut milk and cook it for a long time before adding the heavy coconut cream

2.Huu upishi haukorogwi so usikoroge hata kidogo tumia kitambaa kisafi cha jikoni kutikisa sufuria
  Do not stir them while cooking.Use the clean kitchen towel and take the pan and shake it if needed 

3.Pika kwa moto wa kiasi kuepusha kuungua
  Cook them by using the middle heat

4.Unaweza kuwekavijiti vinene badala ya maganda ya ndizi ukihofia zitaungua chini
  You can place large stick at the bottom of the pan instead of there skin

5.Zenyewe zina sukari kwahio ukitaka punguza sukari kama hupendi nyingi
  You can reduce the amount of sugar mentioned if you dont like too much sugar

6.Hakikisha tui la mwanzo linakua zito zito ili kupendezesha ndizi zako
  Make sure the first coconut milk is too heavy

7.Hakikisha unaweka maganda au vijiti chini ya sufuria ili zisiungue
  Make sure you place stick or there skin to avoid the plantain to get burnt

VILEJA VYA ROUND(HOW TO MAKE PINWHEEL COOKIES)



MAHITAJI/INGREDIENTS

5.Cocoa nusu kikombe
  Half cup of Cocoa powder

6.Arki Vanilla kijiko cha chai 2
  Vanillla Essence 2 Tablespoon

7.Arki ya Ice cream kijiko cha chai 1
  Ice cream Essence 1 Tablespoon

8.Baking powder kijiko cha chakula 1
  Baking powder  1 Tablespoon

9.Chumvi kiduchu
  A pinch of salt

10.Plastic wrap au mifuko meupe ya plastic 1
     Plastic wrap

MAANDALIZI/PREPARATION
1.Chekecha unga kisha uweke chumvi na baking powder na changanya vizuri
  Sift the flour added baking powder and Salt.

2.Saga blue band pamoja na sukari kwa mwiko wa ugali wa kwa hand mixer mpaka sukari ilainike vizuri kwa muda usiopungua robo saa
    Beat on medium speed until light and creamy. Gradually add the sugar and beat until fluffy

3.Vunja mayai na uyaweke huku ukiendelea kusaga kwa dakika 10
  Then add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition

4.Weka arki zako zote mbili na uchanganye vizuri
   Then add the vanilla extract and ice cream essence and beat until well incorporated.
   
5.Weka unga wako kidogo kidogo mpaka uji wako uchanganyike na kuwa donge kubwa
   At low speed, gradually add the sifted dry ingredients.  Once the dry ingredients are added, increase speed to medium and beat until the dough leaves the sides of the bowl.

6.Ugawe sehemu mbili sawa moja weka cocoa mwengine uache kama ulivyo
  Devide the dough into 2 then one dough mix with cocoa and other kept aside.

7.Kisha gawa kila moja sehemu mbili yaani upate madonge meupe mawili na meusi hali kadhalika
   Shape both vanilla and chocolate dough into balls and slice each dough ball into two equal halves

8.Kisha sukuma donge jeupe umbo la pembe nne na sukuma jeusi pembe nne pia
   On a sheet of waxed paper, roll out half of the vanilla dough into a rectangle roughly 7 inches by 8 inches.  Do the same for one half of the chocolate dough.

9.Chukua plastic yako na weka donge jeusi ulilolisukuma kisha weka donge jeupe juu ya jeusi
 Flip the rolled vanilla dough onto the chocolate dough.

10.Kisha zungusha donge lako kwa msaada wa plastic likunje kama unakunja chapati kisha lifunge donge lako likiwa kwa hali ile ya urefu ukilizungushia plastic na weka kwenye friji kwa lisaa 1
    And then peel the waxed paper off of the chocolate dough.  Lightly press by gently running your rolling pin on the surface to remove any air pockets and ensure both are adhered .Starting with the short end facing you, tightly roll the dough into a log, and put in the fridge for atleast 1 hours

11.Rudia njia hizo kwa yale madonge mawili yaliobakia
   Repeat the same steps with the other half of the chocolate and vanilla dough so you get two cookie dough logs.

12.Toa kwenye friji na kata kata maduara madogo kiasi weka kwenye tray hakikisha kuna nafasi kati ya kileja na kileja
  Remove from refrigerator then roll each log on the counter to retain a round shape and prevent one side from flattening.When ready to bake, slightly thaw the dough just enough so you can easily slice it cleanly with a sharp knife. .Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper allowing each cookie enough space to expand.

JINSI YA KUPIKA
1.Weka tray yako kwenye oven moto wa 100'C kwa muda wa dakika 10
   Put a tray in an Oven and bake for 100'C for 10 minutes

2.Kisha vigeuze juu chini rudisha tena jikoni
  Turn them upside down and return them in an Oven

3.Baada ya dakika 10 tayari vitakua vimeiva
  After another 10 minutes transfer the cookies onto a wire rack to cool.

4.Acha vipoe unaweza kula na kinywaji chochote
  Let them cool you can serve with any drinks

1.Weka moto kulingana na jiko lako kama lina moto mkali uwe mara kwa mara unaviangalia
You can bake them according to your medium Oven Heat temperature

2.Usiviweke kwenye friji zaidi ya masaa mawili
Dont over refrigerate them

3.Unaweza kupikia mkaa ukipenda
 You can bake with charcoal(Mostly African)

4.Kama huna hand mixer usisage na blender
  If you dont have hand mixer dont blend the blue band mixture

4.Onja nyama yako kama imekolea kila kitu weka pembeni kama bado utaongeza

NDIZI NA SAMAKI(BOILED GREEN BANANA AND FRIED FISHES)


MAHITAJI
1.Ndizi Malindi 8
 8 Fresh Green Banana

2.Samaki(Tasi) 2
 2 Fishes

3.Pilipili ya kuwasha 
 2 Red chillis pepper

4.Kitunguu Thomu punje 4
 4 Garlic clove

5.Chumvi vijiko 
 2 Tbsp of salt

6.Maji 1500ml(Lita 1 na 1/2)
 Water 1 and 1/2 litre

7.Ndimu 1
 1 Lemon

8.Pilipili manga
 Black pepper powder

9.Soy sauce kijiko 1
 1 Tbsp Soy sauce

10.Mafuta robo lita
 1/4 litre of Sun flower oil

MAANDALIZI
-Ndizi:Banana
1.Chukua Bakuli kubwa weka ndizi zako kisha mimina maji lita 1
Take bananas in a bowl and pour 1 litre of water in it

2.Baada ya dakika 5 jiandae kumenya ndizi zako

After 5 minutes take a knife and get prepared to pel them

3.Chukua kisu kata ncha mbili za ndizi zako 

 Take a knife and cut the ends of the bananas off

4.Pasua ndizi yako kwa kuiweka alama 
Cut along each of the ridges

5.Menya ndizi na ziweke kwenye bakuli la maji safi 
Peel the skin away in sections and put the peeled banana in bowl of water

6.Zipare ndizi zako kisha zikata sehemu mbili sawa sawa
Grate the banana just slightly to remove a little upper layer and cut two equal pieces of each banana
-Samaki:Fishes
1.Osha vizuri samaki kwa kuondoa matumbo yote 
Wash them well and make sure you remove all dirt substance in them

2.Wakate kila mmoja vipande viwili kupata vipande vinne

Cut two pieces of each to get 4 pieces of fishes in total

3.Muunge vizuri kwa pilipili,pilipili manga,kitunguu thomu,chumvi kijiko kimoja na ndimu

Marinate them well with pepper,black pepper,garlic,lemon juice and 1 tbsp of salt

3.Kisha waache kwa robo saa

Leave them to be marinated well atleast quarter an hour

JINSI YA KUPIKA
-Ndizi:Banana
1.Chukua sufuria weka ndizi kisha mimina maji ya nusu lita yaliobakia
Put cutted banana in a pot and pour half litre of water

2.Weka chumvi kijiko kimoja

Put 1 tbsp of salt

3.Weka jikoni funika na ziache zichemke hadi ziive kuwa laini
Cover the pot and let it boiled in high medium heat till soft

4.Mwaga maji kama yamebakia 

Remove the pot and pour out the remained water

5.Weka ndizi zako kwenye sahani

Serve your banana in a plate
-Samaki:Fishes
1.Weka mafuta jikoni yaache yapate moto
Keep a pan on medium heat and let the oil be heated

2.Weka samaki akiwa brown mgeuze

Keep the fishes pieces and let it become brown

3.Mwache upande ulewa pili uive akiwa brown mtoe

Turn the other side let it becomes brown

4.Mchuje mafuta kisha muweke kwenye sahani

When its ready put the fishes on tissue paper so as to get dried from cooked oil

5.Nishaelezea vizuri jinsi ya kukaanga samaki unaweza rudia post yangu ya jinsi ya kukaanga samaki

CHATNE YA KAROTI(SIMPLE HOMEMADE CARROT CHUTNEY)



 
🌰 INGREDIENTS IN ENGLISH
For people who like chilli like me ðŸ˜œ
🌸1. 6 carrots
🌸2. Tomato paste 2 tablespoon
🌸3. Chilli flakes 1 tablespoon
🌸4.Salt 1 teaspoon or more if you want
🌸5. Mustards seeds 1 teaspoon
🌸6.Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
🌸7. Olive oil 4 tablespoon
🌸8.Fresh coriander some chopped
🌸9. Fresh chillies 10 of them cut halfway on top
🌸10. White vinegar 4-5 tablespoon
🌰 METHOD / HOW TO PREPARE
🌸1.Peel carrot cut them in half then cut in long strips. 
    2.Cut your chilies on the half in meddle In a bowl put tomato paste, Chili flakes, salt, mustard seeds,
     Garlic, olive oil, fresh coriander, white vinegar
    3.Mix well together to a past now 
    4.Add the chopped carrots and chillies mix well together leave them for 1 hour then put them in a           fridge.
Eat with chicken etc

SAMAKI WA KUKAANGA(FRIED FISH)


MAHITAJI/ INGREDIENTS
1.Samaki 4
 4 Fishes

2.Mafuta kikombe kikubwa 1
 1 Cup of Olive Oil

3.Chumvi nusu kijiko cha chakula
 1/2 Tbsp of Salt

4.Pilipili 2
 2 Red Chilli

5.Ndimu kubwa 1
 1 Medium Lemon

6.Kitunguu thomu punje 4
 4 pieces of Garlic

7.Soy sauce kijiko kimoja
 1 Tbsp of Soy sauce

8.Pilipili manga nusu kijiko
 1/2 Tbsp of black pepper powder

MAHITAJI/ PREPARATION
1.Osha samaki wako ondoa uchafu wote mpaka kwenye mashavu kisha weka kwenye chombo safi
  Wash well your fishes and make sure you remove all unwanted things inside and put them in clean bowl

2.Twanga pilipili ya kuwasha,chumvi na vitunguu thomu
  Mix Garlic,Red Chilli and salt and grind them well

3.Weka pilipili uloitwanga kwenye samaki wako
 Put the grinded mixture in your fishes

4.Weka pilipili manga na wapete ili wakolee viungo vizuri
  Put the black pepper powder in your fishes and mix them well

5.Kamulia ndimu samaki wako
  Put lemon juice in your fishes after squeezing your lemon

6.Waache kwa robo saa
  Leave them for 15 minutes

JINSI YA KUPIKA
1.Weka mafuta kwenye kikaango
  Put the oil in a frying pan and put on medium high heat

2.Acha yapate moto haswaa kabla kuweka samaki wako
 Leave your oil for 4 minutes before start cooking your fish

3.Anza kuweka samaki wako na waache kwa dakika 3
  Start frying them and leave them for 3 minutes

4.Baada ya dakika hizo mgeuze samaki upande wa pili
Turn the fishes on other side and let them be cooked by 3 minutes

5.Muache kwa dakika 3 kisha mtoe
After 3 minutes take remove them in a pan

6.Muweke kwenye chujio au kwenye tissue achuje mafuta
Use tissue to let them dry from all the oil

7.Unaweza kula mtupu au na Wali,Ugali,Mkate n.k
 You can serve alone or with salad,bread or rice.

Angalizo:Note
1.Usiweke samaki jikoni kama mafuta hayajapata moto vizuri atavurugika kwenye kikaango
  Dont fry the fish let the oil get moderate heat at least 3 minutes after kept on fire

2.Pika kwa moto wa kati usiwe mkali sana usije ukawaunguza au kuwababua
  Dont use high heat to fry them so as to let them be cooked very well

3.Hakikisha samaki unamkosha vizuri kabla ya kumpika
  Make sure you wash them well before frying

4.Wacha samaki wakolee viungo vizuri kabla kuwapika
   Let the fish be marinated well before frying them

MAANDALIZI(PREPARATION).
1.Katakata maini vipande vipande
Cut beef liver in medium pieces as many as you want

2.Osha maini yako na yaweke pembeni
Wash them and put them in a pan or pot

3.Menya viazi mbatata na vikate vipande upendavyo kisha vioshe
Peel the potatoes,cut into sized pieces and wash them

4.Osha nyanya kisha zisage
Wash the tomato then blend them

5.Katakata vitunguu maji,pilipili hoho weka pembeni
Cut onion,greeen pepper

6.Para karoti weka pembeni
Grate the carrot and put them in a plate

7.Kamua ndimu kwenye kibakuli
Squeeze the lemon and put its juice in a bowl

JINSI YA KUPIKA(HOW TO COOK)
1.Weka Kitunguu thomu,tangawizi,chumvi kwenye maini na uyaweke jikoni
Put ginger,garlic and salt in pot of garlic and cook it in a medium heat

2.Acha dakika moja kisha weka maji kikombe kimoja
Leave it for a minute then pour a cup of water

3.Maji yakipungua ngeza maji kikombe kingine subiri kwa dakika 5 na yaepue
Put another cup of water when the fast water are lowered and wait for 5 minutes and pour them in a big bowl

4.Weka mafuta kwenye sufuria yakipata moto anza kukaanga vitunguu maji kisha pilipili hoho malizia na karoti
Keep the pot on medium heat put some oil and fry onion,green pepper and finally add  grated carrot

5.Kisha weka mbatata zikaange mpaka vifanye brown
Then add potatoes and keep frying with your vegetables mixture

6.Weka nyanya na chumvi kwenye mchanganyiko wako funika acha viive kwa dakika 5
Add blended tomato,salt then mix your mixture well and cover your pot well for 5 minutes

7.Mimina maini yako weka na royco kisha koroga vizuri
Add the cooked beef liver and royco then mix it well

8.Weka nyanya ya paketi koroga acha kidogo
After that add tomato paste and mix well

9.Weka ndimu ongeza na maji kidogo acha kwa dakika 2
Add lemon juice and add small quantity of water wait for 2 minutes 

10.Weka sukari koroga kisha onja mchuzi wako 
Add sugar mix your roast and taste it

11.Kama upo sawa epua hakikisha unakua mzito mzito ngoja upoe tayari kwa kula
If it is okay turn off the heat,if not add some salt and taste it again

12.Unaweza kula na Wali,Chapati,Mkate wa ufuta au kitu chochote
You can serve with Cooked rice,Loaf,Bread,Chapati and other staff.

1.Hakikisha hauchemshi maini kwa muda mrefu yanakua magumu
Make sure dont over boil your beef liver so as to be soft

2.Kuwa makini na uwekaji maji ili upate mchuzi mzito kiasi
Make sure dont add too much water so as to get heavy roast

MAANDALIZI/PREPARATIONS
1.Osha samaki vizuri baada ya kuwasafisha kisha waweke kwenye bakuli
  Wash the fishes and kept them in a big bowl

2.Twanga kitunguu thomu na  pilipili na chumvi
 Mash the garlic with pepper and salt

3.Weka viungo ulivyotwangwa kwenye samaki
 Marinate your fishes with pepper mixture 

4.Ongeza ndimu kisha wachanganye vizuri
   Add lemon juice and mix them well

5.Menya mihogo na ikoshe vizuri
   Peel the cassava and wash them

7.Kata mihogo kupata vipande 12
  Cut the cassava in 12 pieces

MUHOGO/CASSAVA
1.Weka mihogo kwenye sufuria pamoja na maji na chumvi
   Keep the cassava in a pot(cooking dish) with salt and water

2.Chemsha hadi mihogo iwive na kuwa laini
  Boil them until cooked and smooth

3.Mwaga maji yaliobakia kwenye mihogo na iwe mikavu
   Pour or remove excess water remained in a pot

4.Weka mihogo kwenye sahani
 Keep them in a plate

SAMAKI WA KUKAANGA/FRYING FISH
1.Weka mafuta kwenye kikaangio
   Take a frying pan and put some oil

2.Weka kikaangio jikoni weka moto mkali
  Keep the pan on stove on high heat

3.Baada ya dakika 3 weka samaki
   Leave it for 3 minutes and put your fishes

4.Baada ya dakika 5 wageuze samaki upande wa pili
   After 5 minutes flip the fishes in another side and let it cooked

5.Waache kwa dakika 5 nyengine
Leave it for another 5 minutes


6.Toa samaki wako waweke kwenye tissue au chujio wachuje mafuta
    Remove your fishes and keep them on the tissue

7.Baada ya dakika 3 wako tayari kuliwa
    After 3 minutes they can be served

8.Kula samaki na mihogo pamoja na kachumbari  na pilipili
   Serve them with your boiled cassava and chilli sauce and salad

9.Unaweza kula na chai au uji ukipenda
    You can use tea or porridge too if you wish

MAHITAJI/INGREDIENTS

1.Unga wa Ngano Vikombe 4
  4 Cups Plain Purpose Flour

2.Maziwa ya maji Kikombe 1
 1 Cup Milk

3.Mayai 2
 2 Eggs

4.Hamira Vijiko vya Chakula 2
 2 Tbsp Yeast

5.Siagi Vijiko 2
 2 Tbsp Butter

6.Sukari Nusu Kikombe
 ½ Cup Sugar

7.Chumvi Kiduchu
 Pinch of Salt

7.Chocolate ya Nutella Kikombe 1
 1 Cup Nutella Chocolate

MAANDALIZI/PREPARATIONS

1.Changanya maziwa(hakikisha yawe ya uvugu uvugu),hamira,unga kijiko kimoja na sukari kijiko 1 koroga na acha mchanganyiko huo kwa dakika 10 ufure
  Mix warm milk,yeast,one table spoon of sugar and flour and dissolve all ingredients.Let it sit for 10 minutes to activate.

2.Chunga unga kwenye bakuli na kisha toa nusu kikombe cha unga weka pembeni kwa ajili ya kusukumia utakao bakia changanya na vitu vyote vikavu vilobakia yaani unga,sukari na chumvi
  In a large bowl,sift the flour through a sieve. And remove half cup of the flour and keep aside so as to use it for sprinkling .Then combine the dry ingredients remained; flour,sugar and salt.

3.Vunja mayai toa viini weka pembeni
  Separate egg yolks from egg whites.

4.Kisha weka viini,siagi na hamira ilioumuka kwenye bakuli lenye mchanganyiko wa unga.
  Add butter,egg yolks and yeast in the bowl with dry ingredients

5.Chukua mwiko changanya unga wako vizuri
  Mix everything with a wooden spoon.

6.Kanda unga wako kiasi cha dakika 7
  Knead the dough for about 7 minutes

7.Ukipata donge laini weka kwenye bakuli funika kwa kitambaa kisafi au plastic wrap katika sehemu ya joto na acha kiasi cha nusu saa au mpaka liumuke  vizuri.
  Once you get smooth dough,put it into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap or cloth and let it rise for around 30 minutes or till double in size.

8.Nyunyiza unga sehemu ya kusukumia donge na weka donge lako hapo
   Place the dough on a lightly floured surface.

9.Likande donge lako kiasi cha dakika moja kasha ligawe sehemu 4
   Knead the dough for around 1 minutes and divide into 4 equal parts.

10.Chukua donge moja  sukuma katika umbo la chapati ila iwe na upana utakaozidi sahani
   Roll the first of four parts into circle the dough should be wider more then the size of plate.

11.Kisha chukua karatasi ya kuokea na weka lichapati lako juu ya ile karatasi.
   Place the dough circle on a piece of baking paper

12.Chukua sahani weka juu ya chapati yako kisha kata sehemu zilozidi ibakie chapati yenye usawa wa sahani
  Take a plate and keep it on top of the circle and mark it to get the circle having same shape as your plate.Cut the excess dough with a knife

13.Chukua Nutella kisha pakaa kwenye duara lako vizuri hakikisha inaenea kote
   Cover the marked area with thin layer of chocolate spread.

14.Sukuma donge jengine,na uliweke juu ya lile lenye nutella kisha ondoa sehemu zilozidi ili liwe sawa na lile la mwanzo na pakaa nutella kama ulivyopaka la mwanzo
   Roll another layer of dough,place iton the previous one and mark off the plate on it.Then put the chocolate spread on the marked area.

15.Sukuma donge la tatu na rudia hatua zile zile tulizofanya kwa chapati ya kwanza na ya pili
   Repeat the procedure with the third dough.

16.Sukuma donge lilobakia weka juu ya chapati tatu za mwanzo na weka sahani upate ukubwa sawa na zile za mwanzo
  Roll the last dough into circle and put it on the previous layers and cover it with a plate.Cut the excess dough with a knife

17.Chukua glasi ndogo weka kati kati ya chapati yako ya juu
   Using a small keep it at the center of those circle.

18.Pasua chapati zako sehemu nne sawa kisha pasua tena upate vipande nane  endelea kupasua hadi upate vipande 16 kumbuka unapasua bila kuitoa glasi yako pale kati
  Divide the layers into quaters ,start cutting from the marked circle without removing the glass at the center.Divide the quarter into eight .At the end you should have 16 equal parts.

19.Kamata vipande viwili kati ya 16 tumia mikono yote miwili na vizungushe mara mbili katika muelekeo tofauti ,kimoja kizungushe kielekee kulia kingine kielekee kushoto. 
  Take two parts of the 16 in both hands and delicately twist them in opposite directions.

20.Rudia kuzungusha kwa vipande 14 vilivyobakia mpaka upate umbo kama kwenye picha hio chini
   Repeat with all pairs to form eight armed star

21.Ufunike sehemu ya joto acha uumuke kiasi cha dakika 10
  Cover it and let it rise around for 10 minutes

22.Chukua ute wa yai upige pige kisha pakaa juu ya mkate wako
  Brush the surface of the bread with egg white   




JINSI YA KUPIKA/HOW TO COOK
1.Oka mkate wako kwa moto wa 180’C, kiasi cha dakika 15 mpaka 20
  Bake at 180’C for around 15 to 20 minutes

2.Ukiona unapiga rangi ya dhahabu utoe kwenye jiko
 When turn to golden colour remove from the oven

3.Acha upoe tayari kula na kinywaji upendacho.
  Let it cool serve with any drinks you prefer
