VISHETI VYA NAMBA NANE VYA MAZIWA NA UJI WA NGANO(NUMBER 8 VISHETI AND WHOLE WHEAT SEEDS PORRIDGE)





MAHITAJI/INGREDIENTS
 Visheti

1.Unga wa Ngano ¼ Kg
  ¼ Kg Plain Purpose Flour

2.Maziwa ya maji Kikombe Kidogo 1
 1 Small Cup Milk

3.Yai 1             
 1 Egg

4.Hamira Vijiko vya Chakula 2
 2 Tbsp Yeast

5.Siagi Vijiko 2
 2 Tbsp Butter

6.Sukari Kijiko 1
 1 Tbsp Sugar

7.Chumvi Kiduchu
 Pinch of Salt

8.Mafuta ya Kukaangia Lita 1
 1 Litre Cooking Oil

Shira/Sugar Syrup

1.Sukari Kikombe Kidogo 1
    1 Small Cup Sugar

2.Hiliki Ilotwangwa Kijiko cha Chai 1
  1 Tea Spoon Cardamon Powder

3.Arki Vanilla na Ice Cream Nusu Vifuniko Vyake
  ½ Cap Vanilla and Ice Cream Essence(Bottle Cap)

4.Maji Robo Kikombe
 ¼ Cup Water

Uji wa Ngano Nzima/Whole Wheat Seeds Porridge

1.Ngano Nzima Kikombe Kikubwa 1
    1 Mug Whole Wheat Seeds

2.Maji ya Kuchemshia
    Water for Boiling

3.Hiliki nzima punje 10
    10 Cardamon 

4.Maji ya kupikia uji Lita 2
    2 Litre for Cooking the porridge

5.Unga wa ngano Kikombe Kikubwa 1
    1 Mug Plain Purpose Flour

6.Sukari Kikombe Kidogo 1
    1 Small Cup Sugar

MAANDALIZI/PREPARATIONS
Visheti
1. Chunga unga kwenye bakuli na changanya na vitu vyote vikavu yaani,sukari,chumvi
Hamira
   In a large bowl,sift the flour through a sieve. And mix with all dry ingredients remained; like yeast,sugar and salt.

2.Vunja yai weka kwenye mchanganyiko wako
  Break an egg and add it in the flour  mixture.

3.Mimina maziwa taratibu mpaka unga ushikane uweze kuukanda
  Add milk little by little amount until the mixture combine together

4. Kanda unga wako kiasi cha dakika 7
  Knead the dough for about 7 minutes

5.Weka Siagi kijiko 1 endelea kukanda kiasi cha dakika 2
  Add one table spoon of butter keep kneading for 2 minutes

6.Ukipata donge laini weka kwenye bakuli lipake kijiko cha siagi kilobakia kasha funika kwa kitambaa kisafi au plastic wrap katika sehemu ya joto na acha kiasi cha nusu saa au mpaka liumuke  vizuri.
  Once you get smooth dough, apply the remained butter on top of it and put it into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap or clean cloth and let it rise for around 30 minutes or till double in size.

8.Nyunyiza unga katika chombo cha kuekea visheti vyako
   Take a tray and add some flour into it

9.Likande donge lako kiasi cha dakika moja kisha kata madonge madogo madogo 16
   Knead the dough for around 1 minutes and divide into 16 small dough.

                  

10.Chukua donge moja ingiza vidole kati kutengeneza tobo mpaka upate umbo la duara lilitobolewa(Mfano kama Bangili)
   Take one dough and insert two fingers in it to get a circle with hollow space at the center
       
    

11.Kisha zungusha duara lako upande wa juu peleka kushoto na upande mwengine kulia mpaka kati pakutane upate umbo la namba8
   Twist your circle dough the upper side clock wise and the lower side anticlockwise till the center meet and form the number eight shape
             



12. Rudia kuzungusha kwa madonge 15 yaliyobakia mpaka uyamalize
   Repeat with all 15 dough remained
         
13.Vifunike sehemu ya joto acha viumuke kiasi cha dakika 20
      Cover them and let rise for 10 minutes






Uji /Poridge
1.Safisha ngano vizuri na uzioshe kasha weka kwenye sufuria na maji kiasi
  Remove all dirty particles in the wheat seeds than wash them well and keep in the pot with some water

2.Weka unga na maji kwenye bakuli na ukoroge kuondoa mabuje
 In a small bowl mix plain purpose flour and water, stir the mixture well to remove burbles

JINSI YA KUPIKA/HOW TO COOK

Visheti
1.Weka mafuta jikoni acha yapate moto kiasi
  Heat the oil to medium heat

2.Weka kisheti kimoja kimoja hakikisha huvipikwi sana vikibadilika rangi tu vitoe
  Add visheti and once they start to change it colour to golden brown take them out

3.Weka kwenye Tray ulioiweka tissue au chujio
  Add them to the sieve or on to the plate which you kept tissue in it

4.Acha vipoe kiasi cha dakika 10
  Let them cool at least for 10 minutes
                    
Shira/Sugar Syrup

1.Weka sukari,hiliki na maji kwenye sufuria
  Add sugar,cardamom and water into the large pot

2.Acha ichemke kiasi dakika 1 ongeza arki
  Let it boil for a minute and add essence

3.Wacha ichemke hadi ifanye mapovu na subiri dakika 3 kisha weka visheti vyako
  Once starting to form burbles wait for 3 minutes then add your visheti

4.Shika sufuria yako anza kuvipeta kasha rudisha jikoni acha kwa dakika 2
  Hold the end of the pot and flip it to throw Visheti inside the pot and then keep the pot away from the stove and then take it back to the stove for 2 minutes

5.Rudia hio hatua(4) mpaka sukari igande kwenye visheti vyako ifanye rangi nyeupe
  Repeat the above(4) procedure until Visheti coated with syrup and turn into white color

6.Acha Vipoe tayari kula na uji,kahawa au kinywaji upendacho
    Ready to serve with porridge,coffee or any drink  

Uji/Porridge
1.Chemsha ngano mpaka ziive na zikauke maji yote
    Bring to boil the wheat seeds until cooked and dry

2.Weka maji Lita moja kwenye sufuria acha yachemke
  Add 1 litre of water into separate pot let it boil

3. Mimina mchanganyiko wa unga na maji ulio ukoroga mwanzo kwenye maji yanayo chemka kasha koroga vizuri mpaka uchanganyike
  Pour the mixture of flour and water in the boiled water and stir well until mixed

4.Acha uji uchemke kiasi cha dakika 10 kisha weka tui
  Let the mixture boil for 10 minutes then add coconut oil

5.Baada ya dakika 5 weka sukari na hiliki na ngano koroga vizuri uji wako
  After 5 minutes add sugar ,boiled wheat seeds,cardamom and stir the mixture till combined

6.Acha kwa dakika 5 nyengine epua na uache upoe
  After another 5 minutes remove the porridge on to the stove and let it cool

7.Tayari kula na visheti,maandazi au mkate wowote uupendao
 Ready to serve with Visheti,Andazi or any type of bread 



Angalizo;Note;
1.Unaweza kukandia tui badala ya maziwa na visheti vikawa vizuri tu
  You can use coconut milk for kneading the Visheti dough instead of milk

2.Uji ukiwa mzito unaweza kuongeza maji ukiwa jikoni ukauzimua
  If the porridge is too heavy and some water to dilute it before remove it from the stove

3.Unaweza kuweka aina moja ya arki au hata aina tatu tofauti kwenye shira
    You can add one type of essence in sugar syrup or up to three different types

4.Ukiona visheti vimegandana sana usishtuke endelea kuvipeta kwa nguvu kidogo kisha virudishe jikoni mpaka sukari igande 
  Once you see the Visheti glued together keep flipping them and take the pot back to the heat till the syrup coat them 

5.Hakikisha mafuta unayopikia Visheti hayana harufu yoyote mfano (yasinukie alizeti) na masafi yasiwe yamepikiwa chochote

 The Oil used for frying must be clean i.e never used before and not imparting any flavor or smell.

JUISI AU MILK SHAKE YA TENDE(DATES MILK SHAKE)



MAHITAJI/INGREDIENTS
1.Tende 20
 20 Dates

2.Maziwa Glasi 1 na nusu
 1 and 1/2 Glass of Milk

3.Karanga zilosagwa robo kikombe
 Quater Cup of  Crushed Ground nuts 

4.Arki Pine Apple robo kifuniko cha chupa yake
 Pine Apple Essence 1/2 Cap(Caps of Pine Apple Essence Bottle)

5.Maji Ya Uvugu uvugu Kikombe Kidogo 1/2
  1/2 Small Cup of Warm Water


MAANDALIZI/PREPARATIONS
1.Toa kokwa(Mbegu) kwenye tende upate nyama ya tende tu
  Remove the hard pit from dates chop them coarsely

2.Weka kwenye jagi la blenda nyama za tende
 Add them to the jug of blender

3.Mimina maji kwenye blenda acha tende ziroane kwa dakika zipatazo 10
   Pour a cup of water into the blender's jug let the dates be soaked for atleast 10 minutes 

4.Weka maziwa kwenye friza hadi yafanye chenga chenga
  Refrigerate milk until frozen 

JINSI YA KUTENGEZA/HOW TO MAKE
1.Saga Tende zako taratibu mpaka zisagike vizuri
 Blend the soaked dates well till you gets smooth puree

2.Mimina karanga kwenye jagi
 Add crushed ground nuts into the jug

3.Mimina maziwa kwenye jagi lenye tende
 Pour the frozen milk into the jug having date

4.Malizia kuweka arki
 And finally add pine apple essence

5.Saga Mchanganyiko wako taratibu mpaka usagike vizuri
 Blend the mixture well till gets smooth puree

6.Ikichanganyika vizuri mimina kwenye glasi tayari kwa kunywa
 When blended well pour into the glass ready to serve
 
7.Unaweza kuinywa yenyewe au na kitafunio chochote upendacho
 You can serve it with any bite you prefer or drink as it is

Angalizo:Note
1.Usiache maziwa yakaganda hadi kuwa barafu ngumu yakifanya chenga tu inatosha kabisa 
 Do not let the milk frozen complete ,remove in the freezer once started to form the ice  

2.Hakikisha unaondoa kokwa(mbegu) za tende vizuri
 Make sure you remove carefully the hard pit in the dates

JUISI YA PARACHICHI NA MAZIWA YA UNGA (AVOCADO WITH MILK POWDER JUICE)


MAHITAJI/INGREDIENTS
1.Parachichi kubwa kiasi 1
 1 Medium Size Avocado

2.Maziwa Ya Unga Kikombe kidogo cha chai Nusu 
 1/2 Cup Milk Powder

3.Sukari Vijiko Vikubwa 5
 5 Tbsp Sugar

4.Arki ya Ice Cream Kiduchu
 Ice Cream Essence to taste

5.Maji ya Baridi Lita Moja na Nusu
 1.5 Litre Cold Water

6.Ndizi mbivu 1
 1 Ripen Banana

7.Ndimu Kipande 
 Small Piece Lemon

MAANDALIZI/PREPARATION
1.Osha Parachichi kwa maji safi Vizuri
  Rinse Avocado well with clean water 

2.Kisha limenye na toa kokwa(Tunda) la katikati ya parachichi 
  Peel it and remove the inner seed of avocado 

3.Kata vipande vidogo vidogo weka kwenye jagi la blenda
 Cut the avocado into small pieces and put them into blender jug

4.Menya Ndizi na katakata weka kwenye blenda
 Peel the banana and cut into pieces then add into jug too
 

JINSI YA KUANDAA/HOW TO PREPARE
1.Weka maziwa,sukari na maji kwenye jagi la blenda uliloweka parachichi na ndizi
 Add the milk,sugar and water in the jug has the mixture of avocado and banana

2.Saga mchanganyiko wako kiasi cha dakika 3
 Blend the mixture for at least 3 minutes

3.Weka arki na endelea kusaga kwa dakika 3 
 Add the Ice cream essence and keep blending the mixture

4.Malizia kwa kukamua ndimu na weka maji yake kisha saga kwa dakika 2 tu
 Finally squeze the lemon and add lemon juice in the mixture for 2 minutes

5.Mimina kwenye chupa weka katika friji ipate baridi kiasi usiache mpaka ikafanya barafu
  Pour in the jug or bottle refrigerate but make sure it does not freeze

6.Ikiwa na baridi nzuri unaweza kunywa na mkate au vileja ,keki n.k
 After getting cold you may serve with bread,cake etc

Angalizo:Note
1.Parachichi lazima liwe gumu kidogo lisiwe laini sana
  Don't use rippen Avocado

2.Hakikisha haiwi nzito sana wala nyepesi sana itapoteza ladha yake 
 The juice consistence should neither be lighter nor heavier

3.Sio lazima kuweka ndimu
 Lemon juice is optional

4.Usiweke kwenye friza ikiganda itapoteza utamu
  Dont freeze the juice just refrigerate it

5.Usiongeze tunda jengine lolote
 Dont add any other fruit may change the taste

CHAI YA MAZIWA(MILK TEA)

MAHITAJI
1.Maziwa Nusu Lita
 1/2 Litre Milk

2.Maji safi nusu Kikombe Kidogo cha Chai
 1/2 Cup Water

3.Sukari Vijiko 3 au 4 kama unapenda sukari
 3(or)4  Tbsp Sugar

4.Hiliki punje 6
 6 Cardamon

5.Tangawizi iloparwa kijiko kidogo cha chai 1
 1 small Tbsp Crushed Ginger

6.Mdalasini mzima vipande 3
 3 pieces Cinnamon

7.Arki Vanilla kijiko kidogo cha chai 1
 1 small Tbsp Vanilla

8.Majani ya chai kijiko kikubwa 1 
 1 Tbsp Tea Leaves

MAANDALIZI/PREPARATION
1.Mimina maziwa kwenye sufuria 
 Pour some milk in a cooking pot

2.Menya na zitwange hiliki zako vizuri mpaka zisagike na maganda weka pembeni
 Peel and crush the cardamon and dont throw away its cardamon pods

JINSI YA KUPIKA
1.Weka maziwa jikoni na vitu vyote nilotaja hapo juu pamoja na maganda ya hiliki kasoro majani
 Boil the milk added those ingredients i mentioned above except tea leaves and add cardamon pods too

2.Wacha yachemke kiasi kabla ya kupanda juu
 Let it boil into medium heat before rising

3.Weka majani ya chai
 Add tea leaves

4.Acha maziwa yaje juu kama yanataka kufoka ndio uyaepue
Let them rise and suddenly remove to the stove

5.Mimina chai kwenye chupa kwa kutumia kichujio
 Strain the tea into Thermos and filter it by small sieve

6.Kisha weka kwenye kikombe na ufurahie chai yako
 Then strain the tea into a cup and enjoy it

7.Unaweza kunywa na kitafunio upendacho kama Mkate,buiscuit,keki n.k
 You can serve with bread,cake,cookies,biuscuit and so on.

Angalizo:Note
1.Usijaze maji mengi chai itakuwa nyepesi
 Dont add too much water the tea will be so light

2.Usiweke majani mengi hupelekea chai kuwa chungu
 Dont add too much tea leaves

3.Kama si mpenzi wa sukari sukari nilotaja hapo juu inatosha kabisa
 If you dont like too much sugar only 3 Tbsp are enough

4.Pia unaweza kuchemsha Maziwa na viungo vyote usiweke majani ya chai badala yake unaweka tea bag kwenye kikombe
If you dont have tea leaves you can use tea bag instead of it after boiling the milk with other ingredients i mentioned above
