1/4 Litre Milk
7.Baking Powder kijiko 1
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
8.Chumvi kiduchu
Pinch of salt
9.Sukari Kijiko kikubwa 1
1 Tbsp Sugar
10.Mafuta Lita 1
1 Litre Sunflower Oil
11.Arki Vanilla kijiko kidogo 1
1 teaspoon Vanilla
12.Mdalasini kijiko kikubwa 1(Sio Lazima)
1 Tbsp Cinnamon(Optional)
MAANDALIZI/PREPARATIONS
1.Kwenye bakuli kubwa chekecha unga kisha weka baking powder na chumvi uchanganye vizuri na weka pembeni
In a large bowl sift flour then combine flour, baking powder, and salt mix well and set aside
2.Twanga kungumanga zichunge kisha weka kwenye mchanganyiko wako
Grate the nutmeg and add its powder in the flour mixture
3.Weka Siagi na changanya vizuri na unga wako mpaka upate chenga chenga
Add Blue band in the flour and mix it well by using your hand
5.Vunja yai changanya lipige na uma kisha changanya na sukari na mimina kwenye mchanganyiko wako
Beat an egg in a small bowl and add sugar then pour it in the flour mixture
6.Changanya vizuri kisha weka Vanilla na endelea kuchanganya kwa dakika 2
Add Vanilla and keep mixing the mixture for 2 minutes
7.Mimina maziwa kidogo kidogo mpaka upate donge moja kama la unga wa vileja
Pour some milk little by little till it becomes in dough
8.Kanda taratibu mpaka upate donge ambalo si laini sana wala gumu sana
Knead the dough till becomes medium sift like cookies dough
9.Ligawe katika madonge matatu
Divide into 3 dough
10.Sukuma kama duara la chapati katika upana wa nusu nchi isiwe nene sana wala nyembamba sana
Roll the dough to 1/2-inch thickness
11.Tumia kifaa cha kukatia donas au glasi mie nimetumia kikombe kikubwa cha chai
Use a floured 2-1/2-inch doughnut cutter to cut the dough into rings. Dip the cutter into flour between cuts to prevent the dough from sticking to the cutter
JINSI YA KUPIKA/HOW TO COOK
1.Weka karai mafuta yapate moto kiasi kama ya kukaangia samaki weka donas zako usiweke zaidi ya tatu
In a heavy, deep large saucepan, heat the oil to 365°F,fry the doughnuts, two or three at a time
2.Zikaange kwa dakika 2 mpaka 3 mpaka ziwe za brown
In the oil fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until they are golden brown, turning once.
3.Zitoe huku ukizichuja mafuta kwa kunyunyizia kwenye sufuria yako
Remove the doughnuts with the slotted spoon, allowing excess oil to drain back into the fryer or pan
4.Weka kwenye chujio au tissue kiasi cha dakika 10 zikauke mafuta
Drain the doughnuts on sieve or paper towels let them cool them for 10 minutes.
5.Weka kwenye sahani na mwagia Icing Sugar
Keep the doughnuts on plate then sprinkle the icing sugar on top
6.Kama utapenda changanya mdalasini na icing sugar halafu zimwagie juu yake
You may mix the icing sugar and cinnamon powder then sprinkle on top of them

1.Usiweke mayai mengi zitaleta shida kwenye kuzichoma(Kukaanga)
Dont add too much egg may lead problem during frying them
2.Usizikaange mpaka zikawa nyekundu
Dont over fry them until turn to red colour
3.Kama huna icing sugar,saga sukari nyeupe kwenye blenda ya vitu vikavu kisha nyunyizia
If you dont have icing sugar,replace with blended white sugar
4.Usiwahishe kuzinyunyizia Sukari zitafanya maji hakikisha zimepoa kabisa ndio weka icing yako
Dont sprinkle the icing sugar till the donus are slightly or completely cool it may cause to melt and get wet
